Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties while delivering excellent resident service and curb appeal at our Highlands Ranch property.

The role involves electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general preventive maintenance, with on-call emergencies and a focus on safety and professional conduct. High school diploma and 1+ year in property management preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or a related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions including repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed by supervision.
• Carry out carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, trim work, window/door repair, and tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, and elevator services.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to maintain safety, cleanliness, and identify repair needs.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance as required.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to leadership.
• Promote safety and risk management per policy and regulations.
