Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Colorado Springs is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform apartment and property upkeep, addressing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and related tasks. You will ensure safety, curb appeal and resident satisfaction while coordinating with the maintenance supervisor and property manager.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in property management or related field, plus valid driver’s license and strong customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address a range of maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, carpentry and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain curb appeal and high standards of customer service for residents.
• Keep work orders updated and completed on time to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call rotations as required.
• Promote safety and risk management per local, state, and company rules.
