Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance while delivering high standards of customer service and curb appeal. The role requires a valid driver’s license and basic carpentry skills, with on-call rotation for emergencies.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry tasks, maintain safety protocols, and ensure timely completion of work orders. The position emphasizes resident satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Experience in customer service and interacting with residents.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must comply with safety requirements and policies.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervisor or property manager.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertops/cabinets, doors and tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, elevator and other systems.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with property emergencies and after-hours maintenance on a on-call rotation.
• Promote safety and risk management per company rules and regulations.
• Interact with residents professionally to maintain curb appeal and satisfaction.
