Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address a broad range of apartment and property maintenance duties while upholding outstanding customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property.

Responsibilities include repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring and carpentry, plus preventative maintenance, work-order management, safety compliance, and timely communication with leadership and residents. On-call emergency support may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of property management or related maintenance experience.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) as needed.
• Follow safety rules and risk management policies.
• Provide courteous, professional resident interactions.
