Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform apartment and property maintenance tasks on-site, upholding high standards of safety and curb appeal. You will address electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds, while maintaining the work order system and ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in property management or related fields, plus a valid driver’s license and strong customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or a related field is needed.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Address electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed by the supervisor.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, and tile work.
• Complete proactive maintenance tasks, including painting, lighting, and safety inspections.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure timely completion to meet resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance duties.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to leadership and follow safety protocols.
