Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in California is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property upkeep under the guidance of the maintenance supervisor. You’ll perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds, while maintaining high standards of curb appeal and resident service.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in property management or related field, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Carry out proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, etc.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings and amenities to ensure safety and cleanliness; identify issues requiring maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with property emergencies and participate in after-hours maintenance assignments.
