Job summary

Avenue5 Residential, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance tasks while delivering excellent customer service and curb appeal. Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and general maintenance, plus proactive preventative work and safety compliance.

You will maintain work orders, inspect grounds, assist with emergencies, and communicate with leadership about issues.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds as required.
• Carry out preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure timely completion to satisfaction of residents.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas to identify safety or maintenance issues.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and respond after hours as needed.
• Promote safety, risk management and professional appearance in line with company rules.
