Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in San Diego. You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs while ensuring safety and cleanliness across the property.

Responsibilities include completing work orders promptly, inspecting grounds, and assisting with emergencies. A high school diploma and 1+ year of property management experience are required; valid driver’s license and good English are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and safety tasks.
• Repair wallboard, countertops, cabinets, windows, doors, tiles and related fixtures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinklers, pool and elevator upkeep.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas to maintain safety and cleanliness; address issues.
• Assist with property emergencies and after-hours maintenance as needed.
• Promote safety compliance and follow risk management policies.
