Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance tasks and uphold top-notch customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property.

Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and HVAC, plus preventative maintenance and safety inspections. High school diploma and 1+ year in property management required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as directed.
• Carry out carpentry duties: wallboard repair, countertops/cabinets, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, tile repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance (siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pool, elevator, etc.).
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues needing maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with emergencies and on-call maintenance; respond promptly to issues.
