Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in San Antonio, TX to address apartment and property maintenance duties while upholding top-tier customer service and curb appeal.

You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, carpentry and more, manage work orders, maintain safety, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and teamwork on a fast‑moving property portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as assigned.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Perform general carpentry: wallboard repair, countertops, doors, tile repair.
• Maintain work order system and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with emergencies and after-hours maintenance as needed.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues.
• Promote safety and risk management per policy.
• Foster positive relations with residents and teams.
