Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle a broad range of apartment and property maintenance tasks at a busy site. You will perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds repairs, while upholding top-tier customer service and curb appeal for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance repairs as directed by supervision.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair.
• Execute preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pool, elevator, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues requiring maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, weather, fires, floods) and communicate issues to leadership.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations; participate in after-hours on-call maintenance.
