Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our onsite team. You will address apartment and property maintenance tasks as directed by the maintenance supervisor and property manager, delivering top-tier resident service and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and common area amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues for maintenance, repair or replacement.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and other inclement weather events.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly with maintenance leadership.
• Observe and promote safety and risk management per company rules and regulations.
• Participate in emergency on-call/after-hours maintenance assignments and address issues promptly.
