Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties while upholding high standards of customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property.

The role requires completing repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and HVAC, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. A valid driver's license and basic maintenance/carpentry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Inspect the property grounds, buildings, and common area amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness standards and identify issues requiring maintenance, repair or replacement.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and other inclement weather events and communicate issues to maintenance leadership.
