Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Lewisville, TX to address apartment and property maintenance duties while upholding top customer service and curb appeal. You'll work under the maintenance supervisor to meet high standards for residents and properties.

You should have at least one year in property maintenance or related field, with general carpentry and maintenance skills, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in after-hours on-call.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, window/door repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness and identify repair needs.
• Assist with property emergencies and respond to after-hours issues as required.
• Follow safety and risk management policies in line with regulations and company rules.
• Maintain professional demeanor and promote curb appeal and resident relations.
