Avenue5 Residential in McKinney, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform apartment and property upkeep, address work orders, and maintain curb appeal.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and high resident service.

A high school diploma and at least one year in property maintenance are required; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Perform carpentry duties: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, tile repairs.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, and related tasks.
• Maintain work order system and ensure on-time completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues for repair or replacement.
• Assist with property emergencies and coordinate with leadership on issues.
