Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle apartment and property maintenance tasks while delivering excellent customer service and curb appeal. You will work under the maintenance supervisor or property manager to uphold high standards at the assigned property.

Responsibilities include performing repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds; preventative maintenance; and timely handling of work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as directed by the supervisor.
• Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues needing maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods) and communicate issues to leadership.
