Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in San Diego, CA to handle a broad range of apartment and property maintenance tasks. You will work under the maintenance supervisor to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained surroundings for residents and guests.

The role emphasizes hands-on repairs, safety, and strong customer service, with a commitment to curb appeal and timely work orders. Requires a high school diploma and 1+ year in maintenance or related field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance repairs.
• Maintain property grounds, curb appeal and safety.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with property emergencies and after-hours on-call.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
