Avenue5 Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician to upkeep apartment properties and ensure curb appeal. You will perform a range of repairs, respond to work orders, and support on-call duties while maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year in property management or related field. A valid driver’s license and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property with a focus on safety and curb appeal.
• Address maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, hvac, and grounds.
• Perform carpentry work: wall repairs, countertop/cabinet replacement, and door/lock repairs.
• Execute preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, and related systems.
• Maintain work orders and ensure on-time completion to resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with emergencies (weather, fires, floods) as needed.
• Communicate maintenance status to leadership and residents; uphold risk management.
• Adhere to safety rules and professional conduct at all times.
