Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of apartment and property maintenance duties, ensuring top-tier customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property in Everett, WA.

The role requires at least 1 year of property management or related experience, strong maintenance and carpentry skills, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work with a proactive team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as required.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertops/cabinets, finish carpentry, window/glass, doors/locks and tile repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler systems, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues needing maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods) and communicate issues to leadership.
• Promote safety and risk management per local, state and company rules; participate in after-hours on-call.
