Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician for apartment communities in Oxnard and Piru. You will perform daily maintenance, complete work orders, prepare units for move-in, and respond to resident requests with professionalism.

Candidates should have maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical/HVAC knowledge, ability to troubleshoot, prioritize multiple tasks, and provide courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in apartments or property management.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple work orders.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical maintenance duties.
• Must be dependable, professional, and responsive to resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repair work orders.
• Perform apartment unit turns and make-ready work.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Maintain common areas, buildings, and property grounds.
• Inspect vacant units and identify needed repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Location: Role in Oxnard and role in Piru

A well-established property management company is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for maintaining apartment communities, completing work orders, preparing units for move-in, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
