Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, and related property upkeep.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant units for new occupancy by completing repairs, touch-ups, inspections, and cleaning support as needed.
• Conduct property inspections, maintain common areas, and help ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Assist with vendor coordination, supply tracking, and inventory management.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Perform residential property maintenance, repairs, unit turns, and common area upkeep.
• Complete preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, and emergency repair responses.
• Support resident service needs while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional property environment.
• Previous apartment, property, or facilities maintenance experience is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs is required.
• Valid California Driver's License is required.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance are required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work orders, and maintain a professional attitude with residents, vendors, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of maintenance experience in residential housing, apartment communities, property management, or facilities maintenance.
• Experience preparing vacant units for new occupancy.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance routines, inspection checklists, and basic inventory tracking.
• Ability to support a positive resident experience through responsive service and quality workmanship.
