Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and repair of site mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and installation of rotating equipment.
• Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Access documents and maintenance procedures using a computer.
• Support day-to-day operations with maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting manufacturing and be available off-hours if needed.
• Train new employees on tool and equipment use.
• Identify areas for improvement in preventive maintenance and design changes.
• Interact with production operators to address issues.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and Facilities Technician
  Rotating Day Shift (4 ON 4 OFF): 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required.
  
• Minimum 4 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Use of PPE - personal protective equipment.
• General computer skills - familiar with Microsoft software tools.
  
• Physical Requirements: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions.

• Display mechanical aptitude to fix and install manufacturing and facility type equipment.
• Identify areas of improvement including design changes and preventive maintenance improvements.
• Interact with production operators to understand issues and concerns and address appropriately.
