Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems, grounds and amenities at our on-site communities across the United States. You will diagnose, repair, and complete work orders, manage make-ready tasks for vacancies, and help ensure safety, cleanliness and operational standards.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications are required, along with a valid driver’s license for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Completed safety trainings and OSHA related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Executes make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Purchases and tracks materials, notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents work orders accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, performs cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
