Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service and repair residential properties. The role focuses on completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet safety and cleanliness standards.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal) or state equivalents, a valid driver’s license for on-site vehicle use, and compliance with local certifications.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license for on-property vehicle use.
• All state and local certification requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the “make-ready” process for vacant apartments including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and inspections.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and using tools/resources efficiently.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license (on-property vehicle use)

State and local certifications as required
