Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and systems across multifamily properties. You will lead maintenance technicians and porters, supervise preventative tasks, and respond to on-call emergencies while ensuring safety, efficiency, and vendor coordination.

The role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification, a valid driver’s license, and experience with building management systems.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• On-call and emergency response duties are required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to diagnose and fix defects following safety standards and code requirements.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing, coordinates vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Accesses materials and manages inventory, returns unused items, and communicates reorder needs to the supervisor.
• Completes documentation to document and track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools properly.
