Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds and amenities meet high standards of cleanliness, safety and function. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing issues, completing make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory control, and timely documentation of service requests.

Role requires EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver's license, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

EPA refrigerant certification required (Type I/II/Universal).
Valid driver's license required to operate a golf cart on property (where applicable).
State and local certification requirements apply.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs following safety and code standards.
Handle make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and material coordination.
Track materials, restock, and notify supervisor when reorders are needed.
Document and file service requests for accurate tracking.
Maintain grounds and common areas through cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and related safety requirements.
Periodically inspect contractor work to ensure quality and conformance with specs.
Assist in property inspections to identify safety and repair needs and communicate with management.
