Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality across property assets. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support make-ready preparations for new residents, with emphasis on efficiency and policy compliance.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, valid driver's license for on-site vehicle use, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing via pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to access materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies for re-ordering.
• Documents work orders timely and accurately for tracking and completeness.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools and materials efficiently.
