Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred (2 years).
• Experience with service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; higher degrees preferred.
• ASE certification preferred; familiarity with DOT/OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily/weekly workforce plans based on customer needs, parts, and technician skill sets.
• Communicate maintenance updates to customers, including schedule or billing concerns.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Coordinate availability of parts for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and timeliness.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Optimize the shop work plan to maintain productivity.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as needed.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
