Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to help schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan at the Millville, NJ facility. The role emphasizes strong customer communication, parts availability, and vendor coordination to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in customer service, 1+ year mechanical hands-on experience, and a background in service administration.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans by factors like customer needs, repairs, parts, and technician skill sets.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates and schedule changes, including billing concerns.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and schedule adherence.
• Provide customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
