Job summary

This role supports customers and technicians, ensuring timely updates and smooth operations. Responsibilities include daily workforce planning, ensuring parts availability, coordinating with vendors, and communicating with customers about changes in schedule or billing concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 2+ years in service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates/Bachelors/Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans based on customer needs, repairs, parts, and technician skills.
• Communicate with customers about maintenance updates, schedule changes, billing concerns, or issues.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts availability for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and schedule adherence.
• Provide customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
