Job summary

The position requires a technical degree or equivalent, at least 3 years in a maintenance role in a cement/industrial plant, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role in cement or industrial plant.
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication.
• Ability to make decisions and to exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of EPA and MSHA regulations as they relate to maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate preventive maintenance, projects, and mechanical repairs.
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance crew.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Attend department and plant safety meetings.
• Plan modifications to improve equipment and plant efficiency.
• Maintain repair parts levels and documentation of work history.
