Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company in Sumterville, FL is seeking a Process Attendant to support cement plant operations on a 12-hour rotating shift, with supervision from the Production Supervisor and a pathway to growth. You will monitor equipment, assist in sampling procedures, inspect weigh feeders, and walk through the plant to ensure safe, efficient operations per MSHA and company standards.

• Must be able to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, climbing equipment, and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety guidelines per plant and MSHA regulations.
• Maintain two-way radio communication with control room/supervisor.
• Assist in sampling procedures and inspections of weigh feeders.
• Inspect bag houses and preheater/kiln areas for proper operation and leaks.
• Conduct complete plant inspections each shift and ensure cleanliness and organization.
