Job summary

Drucker + Falk is seeking a Service Manager/Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the physical upkeep of the community, supervise maintenance staff, and ensure safe operation of mechanical systems under the direction of the Property Manager.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety training, budget adherence, contractor coordination, and maintaining records to keep the property compliant and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical skills preferred.
• CFC/AC knowledge and maintenance experience valuable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate work under the Property Manager.
• Maintain and operate all mechanical equipment.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure safety training and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Maintain records, inventory, and warranties for equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage budgets and purchasing directives.
