Drucker + Falk, LLC in Yorktown, VA is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to assist the Service Manager in daily maintenance operations and supervising staff. The role involves upkeep of the community and operating all mechanical equipment except contract items.

You will train staff, schedule tasks, respond to emergencies on-call, ensure safety, manage records, coordinate with contractors, and help keep apartments ready for occupancy under Drucker + Falk guidelines.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge with CFC certification required.
• General trades skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Familiarity with SDS and OSHA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Train and supervise staff under his/her direction.
• Establish schedules and assign routine maintenance tasks.
• Be on emergency on-call status to respond to emergencies.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for preventative maintenance and safety hazards.
• Turn vacant apartments into units ready for occupancy following guidelines.
• Schedule contractors and secure bids.
