Job summary

Drucker + Falk, LLC is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in maintaining and operating all mechanical equipment and systems within the community. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, scheduling tasks, and ensuring timely completion of work orders while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating maintenance activities, responding to emergencies, and maintaining records in compliance with property and OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• CFC certification required for HVAC work.
• CPO certification required or preferred.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training staff and supervise those under direction.
• Establish work schedules and assign routine maintenance tasks.
• Be on emergency on-call status for emergencies and weather events.
• Maintain safety for staff and operations, train others accordingly.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain clean, organized shop and storage areas per OSHA guidelines.
• Perform maintenance and repairs per work orders and ensure timely completion.
