Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities, maintaining the physical integrity of facilities, grounds, streets, amenities, equipment, and utilities while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and guests.

You will collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, complete light repairs, manage safety protocols, keep records, and support groundskeeping, pool operations, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Able to work on-call and be available for afterhours emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical integrity of the community and ensure a clean, well‑kept living environment.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and notices distribution.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and basic repairs to utilities and streets.
• Inspect facilities (clubhouse, basketball courts, pools, maintenance garage) for good condition.
• Replace lightbulbs, remove trash, and keep community appearance up to standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and safety equipment is used.
• Complete daily/weekly checklists and quarterly reports.
• Prepare and submit accurate maintenance records and reports.
