Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities in Texas Spring is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across the community. You will help keep the property, amenities, and grounds in prime condition while delivering exceptional resident service.

This role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and timely work orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient skills in operating hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work on-call and be available for afterhours emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical integrity of the community and a clean, safe living environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks with the Supervisor.
• Inspect, repair, and replace lighting, plumbing, electrical, and grounds systems as needed.
• Keep detailed daily and weekly checklists and quarterly reports of work performed.
