Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our community properties, ensuring safe, clean, and well‑maintained grounds, facilities, streets and amenities while delivering excellent resident service.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, complete daily checklists, inspect facilities, and maintain safety standards, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand tools and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery
• Ability to provide legible written reports
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
• On-call and afterhours availability
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical integrity of the community and a clean living environment
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
• Inspect, repair, and maintain grounds, amenities, and utility systems
• Prioritize tasks with Maintenance Supervisor
• Complete daily/weekly checklists and quarterly reports
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and accidents prevented
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and notices
• Provide exceptional resident service and timely issue resolution
