Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage branch inventory and administrative processes, supporting maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

You will oversee parts inventory, coordinate with Centralized Parts Ordering, perform cycle counts, track warranty items, and work with the Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs. Strong computer skills with MS Office and familiarity with ServiceNet/AS400 help drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred.
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations required.
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance required.
• Willingness to travel and pass background/drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Full oversight of inventory productivity at the branch(es) for timely service support and minimize inventory loss.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts through Centralized Parts Ordering daily.
• Receive and store parts, update PartsNet, conduct cycle counts, and ensure availability.
• Manage battery and tire inventory; ensure correct quantities and specs.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped timely; follow up on returns with warranty department.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
• Provide vendor support and ensure payments processed correctly.
• Perform process analyses (inventory, profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, RO reviews).
• Use ServiceNet or AS400 to analyze operations and propose improvements.
• Support branch financial manager with performance and profitability data.
• Complete projects assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager.
