Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Tracy to manage branch inventory and administrative processes that support maintenance efficiency and profitability.

You will oversee parts and battery/tire inventories, coordinate with Centralized Parts Ordering and warranty, and analyze processes using ServiceNet or AS400 to drive cost savings and service levels. This is an on-site role requiring collaboration with the branch team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations experience required
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) to support timely service.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through regular ordering and vendor coordination.
• Receive, store, and track parts; update PartsNet; perform cycle counts.
• Manage battery inventory and tire stock as needed.
• Handle warranty items and coordinate with warranty department.
• Coordinate repairs scheduling with the Customer Service Coordinator.
• Ensure vendor payments are processed accurately.
• Perform process analyses using ServiceNet or AS400 and implement improvements.
• Support branch financial performance as directed.
