Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Saint Louis, MO to manage branch inventory and administrative processes that support maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability.

The role covers overseeing inventory productivity, coordinating with centralized ordering, performing cycle counts, and working with warranty and service teams to ensure parts availability and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred.
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations experience required.
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at branch(es) to ensure timely service and minimize loss.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through ordering parts per sourcing procedures with Centralized Parts Ordering.
• Receive and store parts; ensure timely PartsNet updates and regular inventory cycle counts.
• Manage new and used battery inventory and ensure tires are on hand in correct quantity and specs.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped and follow up on returns and warranty-grams with warranty department.
• Coordinate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
• Provide vendor support and ensure payments are processed correctly.
• Support branch financial manager with information contributing to performance and profitability.
