Job summary

Penske is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Ontario, CA to manage inventory and administrative processes at the branch. The role supports maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability by coordinating parts ordering and inventory control.

Key duties include overseeing inventory productivity, processing parts orders, tracking cycle counts, and collaborating with warranty and service teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years of customer service and operations experience.
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch inventory productivity to support timely service and minimize losses.
• Order parts with Centralized Parts Ordering and maintain stock levels.
• Receive, store and cycle-count parts; manage battery and tires inventory.
• Coordinate warranty items and repairs with warranty and service teams.
• Support branch financial managers with performance data and profitability insights.
• Ensure vendor payments are processed correctly.
