Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to perform technical and mechanical work to keep indoor and outdoor community areas meeting Greystar standards. You will address resident service requests, complete make-ready tasks, and maintain grounds and common areas to high quality levels.

The role requires HO diploma, HVAC certification, tool proficiency, and strong safety compliance. A valid driver’s license is preferred; on-site work includes flexible hours and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools per state requirements.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues on the community.
• Complete make-ready process for vacants and ensure unit readiness.
• Maintain grounds, facilities, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by others and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory of parts and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Support budgets and cost control through efficient repairs.
