Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical work that keeps interiors, grounds, and common areas in top condition. You will diagnose resident requests, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality across properties.

The role requires EPA certification, tool proficiency, and strong customer service skills. A valid driver's license and on-site work at Greystar communities are expected, with competitive benefits and potential

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
Must provide own hand tools; knowledgeable in the safe use of hand and power tools.
Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and team.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating to support management.
Experience with property management systems preferred.
Mathematical skills for financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair defects from resident service requests following safety standards.
Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling.
Set and maintain cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds, facilities and common areas.
Periodically inspect work by team members to ensure policy compliance.
Inspect work by contractors and vendors to verify quality and scope.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate supplies within budget.
Perform monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
Assist Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
Support cost-control by repairing parts when possible.
Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
Provide courteous service to residents and respond to questions and complaints promptly.
