Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance professional to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to keep the community clean, safe, and functional. Responsibilities include handling work orders, performing repairs, and ensuring high-quality common areas and interiors.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, hands-on maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications where applicable, and a valid driver's license for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairing.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar standards.
• Periodically inspect work by service team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials; assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
