Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across the community. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and manage the make-ready process for vacancies, ensuring adherence to safety standards and Greystar policies.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, EPA certifications for HVAC work, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must have EPA Type I & II or Universal certifications if working on HVAC systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively for internal and resident interactions.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and property management systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, scheduling vendors and inspecting work.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspects work by others and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory and coordinates with Community Manager on supplies and budgets.
• Performs monthly preventive maintenance and supports budget planning.
• Participates in safety meetings and ensures OSHA compliance.
• Provides courteous customer service to residents and team members.
