Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's CTG practice in Houston seeks an experienced Manager to lead financial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions in diverse industries.

You will mentor associates, manage engagements, and coordinate with senior leaders. The base salary is $160,000 annually, with discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits program including healthcare, a 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or related major; CPA or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong project management and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor CTG associates and senior associates.
• Engage in training initiatives to develop CTG employees.
• Lead financial due diligence work including quality of earnings analyses and working capital analyses.
• Coordinate with Directors and Managing Directors to manage engagement requirements.
• Generate financial due diligence reports and integrate findings.
