Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for the CTG practice to lead financial due diligence, manage engagements, and mentor junior staff across multiple industries. You will drive QofE, working capital analyses, and coordination with other service groups to deliver value to clients.

This role requires 5+ years in financial due diligence, CPA or equivalent, and strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting due diligence experience or equivalent at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or related major.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or the equivalent of a CPA.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to travel for project needs and A&M opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor CTG associates and senior associates.
• Engage in training initiatives to develop CTG employees.
• Risk management: understand and abide by risk guidelines and engagement memo procedures.
• Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks.
• Gather conflict check information and coordinate with Directors to set up engagement requirements.
• Lead financial due diligence work across projects, including QofE and working capital analyses.
• Generate financial due diligence reports and integrate findings with other practice areas.
• Coordinate with other A&M service groups during engagements.
