Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for CTG to lead financial due diligence across diverse industries, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and senior stakeholders. The role focuses on value-driven analyses, risk management, and ensuring high-quality deliverables throughout buy- and sell-side transactions.

The base salary is competitive with a discretionary bonus, and benefits include healthcare, 401(k), vacation, and other time-off provisions.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related major.
CPA or CPA-equivalent certification.
Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting and purchase accounting.
High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for senior stakeholder engagement.
Robust project management skills and ability to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

Counsel and mentor CTG associates and senior associates.
Lead financial due diligence work including QofE and working capital analyses.
Coordinate with client management, boards and lenders on engagement matters.
Develop engagement strategies to address transaction risks and issues.
Oversee the creation of financial databooks and integrated due diligence reports.
