Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a CTG Manager to lead financial due diligence across diverse industries from manufacturing to software & technology. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate cross‑functional efforts, and drive high‑quality analysis for buy‑ and sell‑side engagements.

Applicants should have 5+ years in financial due diligence, a CPA or equivalent, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Travel flexibility and collaboration with Directors and Managing Directors are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial accounting due diligence experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or related major.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or the equivalent of a CPA.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor CTG associates and senior associates.
• Engage in training initiatives to develop CTG employees.
• Lead financial due diligence work on all projects, including quality of earnings and working capital analyses.
• Compile discussions with clients, management and lenders as appropriate.
• Identify transaction risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with other A&M service groups during engagements.
• Delegate work and develop team members.
• Generate financial due diligence reports and integrate findings.
